Seitz: M. immanis Hmps. (17 c) is the largest species and differs from the similar ones by its quite black thorax and the absence of the basal white dots of the forewing. Both the wings are uninterruptedly bluish- green as far as beyond the cell. Bolivia, also from Ecuador. Cat. lep. Ph. Brit. Mus. Fore wings suffused with dark metallic green to end of cell. Hind wing with dark green patch in, below, and beyond lower end of cell. Female . Rase of palpi, coxoo, and base of femora with whit.e points; abdomen with white ventr:il band at base, the other segments with ventral series of points, and the 2nd and 3rd segments with lateral points.
